BIOGRAPHY:

From his native Cameroon, to Montreal where he lives today, Just Wôan, self-taught multi-instrumentalist, demonstrates through his rich and productive journey, the way in which it is possible to realize his childhood dreams even if the we come from a small village called Bafia, in the depths of Central Africa.

His beginnings go back to his early childhood in Yaoundé, the city where he was born and grew up. Upon the release of his first album "des reines" in 2011, Just Wôan was showered with praise by the musical critics of his country and he managed to build a reputation in Africa, then flew abroad to develop a international career.

Just Wôan is an insatiable artist, always discovering new rhythms. Each of the four albums he has to his credit are a journey to diverse horizons, but always mixed with the African Bantu groove that is so dear to him. His caps as a producer and musical director allow him to make perfect rhythmic and harmonic fusions between the multiple music and rhythms of the world that fascinate him. His extraordinary and incredibly varied voice is an instrument that he handles with elegance, moving from bass to treble with an ease of which he alone holds the secret. Rightly considered in Quebec by many critics as one of the best artists of his generation, Just Wôan is one of those artists who aspire to reveal to the world the multicultural richness of Quebec and Montreal through music. Today artistic director of a production studio he himself created in 2017, Productions Miss-Meuré, Just Wôan arranges, produces and produces a multitude of albums and projects for several emerging and established artists.
